Even after making things for myself, my home, my family, and friends; there is still a lot of time to craft. So what do you do?
Some people say to make a business of it and sell them. I have found, that except for a limited amount of consignment pieces, that I really can't make enough to make it worth the effort. Sure I can make things and sell them, but I would barely make more than what the materials cost. I might be able to get about $0.50 - $1.00 per hour for my labor. I don't know about you, but my time is worth much, much more than that.
So I knit, crochet, and sew things for charity. There are so many people out there that are in need of warm and pretty things, and it makes me feel good to think that I can help.
